New leadership institutes have taken place or are scheduled for 2007 in Boston, New Haven, Milwaukee, Atlanta and Denver. Two will be the inaugural CLIs, while three others will be the second, third and fourth institutes that expand the number of community, union, interfaith, elected and academic leaders who are well-versed in the experiences of their peers with a grounding to the local economic and political reality as provided by our curriculum [1].
